hi all,

i love the convenience of Frozen Vegetables

i would like to see some recipes,
containing mainly vegetables [frozen],

no meat;
i sometimes add brown rice, or sunflower seeds;
usually soy sauce/butter

here's one i just found: Sweet & Sour Vegetables

http://chinesefood.about.com/od/vege...etsourvegs.htm
[haven't tried it yet]

My fiance loves them for the same convenience reason.

They go well with a very basic white sauce (flour, water, milk) with your
choice of simple spices added. I usualy toss a few capers and frozen peas
in my white sauces too. You can make the sauce in about the same time it
takes to boil the water and cook the vegies. Pour that over some rice or
pasta, or just eat as is. Knorr makes a easy white sauce thickener (it's in
the spice section at my local grocery store) that does not clump so you can
just toss it in if required.

A simple cheese sauce works well too, plenty of recipes around. I usualy
add dried red chilis to cheese sauce, or finely chopped jalapenos.

Can't be a gourmet cook every night :-)
