I should probably indict Barb Schaller too. Oh, and what the hell, Steve
Dropkin too.

See it's like this. June had a WWT thing at her abode (nice digs, btw).
SteveD was kind enough to give Barb and me a lift. I'll cut to the chase.
One of June's (evil) friends made the most fabulous bread. It was truly
phenomenal. She told us she ground her own wheat.

I'm a gadget junky.

I am now the owner of a KitchenAid grain mill attachment, purchased from a
really cool dude on Ebay.

It's all June Bug's fault. And Barb's. And probably SteveD's too.

I'm getting some wheat berries from the Co-Op tomorrow. I shall report
back.

:-)

ROFL!! I'm envious! Remember, though, that Vanessa said the flour was
still warm when she used it. See if that makes a difference in your
breadmaker, eh?

Congratulations! That bread _was_ terrific; it will be interesting
to see if you can duplicate it by using freshly-ground wheat. Did
you get Vanessa's recipe?

Aside from that, since none of _my_ dishes for the Cook-In contained
anything resembling a grain, I think I should be excused from the
damnation. Being called an "enabler" for providing transportation,
however, is fair game. :-)

Whoa!

I *just* saw this thread. OK, I'm behind.

Now you have the bread recipe, too! All of your stars are lining up...
go Tammy!

June
Who is definitely not evil. No matter what you think. ;D
