Fun at the grocery store
 

For a change, the bagger knew more than the checker! I bought a butternut
squash and the checker asked, "What's this?" The young boy bagging my
groceries said, "Butternut squash." She said, "What do you do with it?" and
before I could reply he said, "Soup." We're talking about a guy who looked
to be about 16, maybe 18. Heh, I can't tell anymore. I laughed and said,
"Your mom makes butternut soup?" and he guffawed and said, "My mom doesn't
cook!" He also knew kale (which I bought for my parrot) and asked what is
that thing, sounds like kale but it grows under the sea. Kelp? Yes, kelp!
That's the ticket! (laughing)

I got some lovely lamb loin chops and a nice chuck steak and also a couple
of ribeyes since they were on sale. The weather is perfect for grilling.
