I particularly like the question about shooting people who don't trim
their posts.

Another shortsighted survey. Decent questions, but inadequate
answers. The first question should have included "all the above".
The last question should have included "no problem" or some similar
option. I didn't want to answer the last question, there being no
applicable choice, but your survey script doesn't allow it. Another
flaw.

Don't take offense, just constructive criticism.

I wonder which answer you missed. It was a yes/no question, so there
were 2 answers more than you need. Either you have or haven't, so you
can always choose yes or no.

Forget it - I was looking at the garlic survey when I wondered how you
could not answer yes or no to "have you ever tasted garlic icecream"

And you didn't trim your post while chiming in with your asinine "me
too". LOL

No offense taken. I forgot to put in "I can't answer this question...."
My bad.

But I still can't figure out why you would have answered "all the above"
for the first question... How can one be both "A complete nitwit" *and*
"Friendly and knowledgeable" at the same time? - that does not make
sense to me. Also, to be honest, I thought "I only read them if the
subject line interests me" pretty much covered the OT post question, as
that applies to ALL posts - at least it does to me...I guess we don't
think alike 'eh? Mind you, I suppose I could have put in "They don't
bother me" or something? I live and learn.

Oh well, if you get another idea for a survey, *you* write it up and
we'll see what the reaction is to it. Deal? I bet you five bucks that
someone out there will also have some constructive criticism for your
survey questions/answers too. LOL.

IMO, it does make sense. My interpretation of that answer is: they
can range from knowledgeable to nitwit.

That would have been fine too, but I thought "I only read them if the
subject line inerests me" covered it.

In any case, I thought you done good girl. No complaints from me.

Its interesting how people interpret things, I didn't see it like
that... oh well. I could have put that in as an answer tho'. Just didn't
occur to me.

Interesting questions, particulary the top/bottom posting thing.

I've been on Usenet using a variety of domain names, usernames, etc.
since 1992. It's always been considered impolite to top post in replies.
Replies that address by paragraph are ok, but top posting wreaks of AOL,
same with all caps.
