Folks,
Tried Emu Apple Jelly for the first time the other day. Consistency of thick honey, and about as sweet, but tastes like you'd added a small amount of sweet citrus juice & maybe rosewater to honey. About the colour of a pale Rose wine. VERY nice on toast, as well as a condiment with roast meats. I'm going to hunt up the maker (distant cousin) to see if I can order a few more jars... Lilly-pilly jelly is similar, but I found this a bit nicer/stronger flavoured. ----------------- Cheers, Rod.....Out Back ================================================== For a selection of my pics from the past 12 months, visit the web site below: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rod_outback/ |
