Unless, of course, you have a dairy allergy, which I don't. The only thing I like soy in is "soy sauce". :-) -- Wayne Boatwright __________________________________________________ Keep emotionally active. Cater to your favorite neurosis. |

Silk Nog stuff is wonderful! And it is back in the stores for the holidays. I traveled to Atlanta this weekend and spotted it up there. Convinced my friend to try it and she convinced me to try adding a bit of Bailey's Irish Cream to it. Now, I like this stuff to begin with but that just made it better yet! Trust me.. it isn't anything like scary soymilk. Honest. |

I like to keep chocolate soy milk around to splash in my coffee now and again, I bet the nog would be pretty damned tasty. -- ..:Heather:. www.velvet-c.com I thought I was driving by Gettysburg once but it ends up I was just driving by your mom's house. |

But I think I like it better than egg nog because it is a bit lighter, thinner... and it is tasty as all get out! I was turned on to it a couple of years ago when they were giving out samples in the commissary. I had never tried soy milk before and found this Silk Nog to be incredibly tasty. I even tried plain soy milk based on liking this stuff so much. I HATED it. This is different. I also appreciate it being lower in calories, fats and all that too. But that isn't my main focus. oh yeah... 1/2 cup=2 WW points, Wayne ![]() |

I guess I simply have a preference for terribly unhealthy, heavy eggnog. I haven't calculated the WW points for the regular stuff yet, but I can just imagine that one portion equals a whole meal's worth of points, or more. :-( When we first started WW early in the year, I tried some soy milk, but just couldn't gag it down. -- Wayne Boatwright @¿@¬ _____________________ |

I've never tried it in coffee; I'll have to give it a -- er, shot (though I usually take my coffee black). The nice thing about the Silk Nog is that it has the mouthfeel of regular eggnog without all the fat. The not-so-nice thing is that, for the last couple of years, WhiteWave (producers) have not been able to keep up with demand. So, if you wanna try it, try it soon! sd |
