I googled on "dehydrated red onion" and got lots of hits for places that import and sell them. I have no experience with any of them. From looking at the hits I got, I'd guess that an Indian import store might be the first place to look. --Lia |

The African American butcher across the street also has dehydrated mixed vegetables, i used them once but was not impressed. -- JL |

Slice a red onion or any onion...extremly thin. Spread out the slices on a cookie sheet. Place in a warm oven (180F -ish) or dehydrator till dried. Use a blender, food processor or stick blender with attachment to powderize. |
