This is viewed from the small end. There wasn't room in the fridge to
turn it sideways. This is the large refrigerator from our old house. Here's a picture of Jurassic Turkey (so named by Skyhooks) in the tub,
soaking (no bubblebath). Joe put his hand next to it for comparison. Sitting right behind it is a stack of deviled egg trays. http://i15.tinypic.com/478k084.jpg This is the turkey on our kitchen table. The pictures on the wall behind it are 16x20" and the pot to the left of it is my enormous (?) 12 quart pressure cooker. Pardon the mess. We're cleaning the kitchen, and everything is everywhere. http://i15.tinypic.com/49h7sde.jpg -- Update from kili's sister: www.caringbridge.org/visit/kilikini/ |

That's what it's all about. I wish I could afford to do more. Some turkeys are on sale right now for $.67. I generally get 2 or three extra this time of year, partially thaw them then cut them up like a chicken for serving over the rest of the year. Dad and I both adore turkey. I sent him back to the store this evening to pick up two more before the price goes back up. -- Peace, Om Remove _ to validate e-mails. Okay, you asked -- for anyone who hasn't made them, here's an image of a thumb print cookie: http://k41.pbase.com/u38/gtach/small....thumb0077.jpg Sibling usually makes them with raspberry jam, and Dad calls them "festered baboon assholes".
