Default Morning Fog

The Back Forty

Fog raised with the sunrise and warm morning temperature.

The downed wires (telephone and cable TV) lead down to the swimming pool
somewhere down there.

Looks a darn sight more scenic than Barnsley UK! I will take one this week
and tinyurl it!

Eerie, yet beautiful! The headless horseman should be coming by any
moment.

It was another Kodak moment. If I hadn't glanced outside at that instant
I'd have missed it. It burned off in minutes.

That's a good place for it. I put one there too.

All the best,

I had a moment like that the other day. I happened to glance over and saw that
the sky with the setting sun had turned the most amazing shade of pink. It was
just stunning. I wanted to get the camera and get a few shots but I had two
dogs draped on my lap and I couldn't bring myself to disturb them.

Oh, <that> fog! I thought you meant the one that envelops me when I wake up
and dissipates after two cups of coffee.

Beautiful shot, though. Almost ethereal.

So you have phone and cable at your swimming pool?

Felice,

Thank you.

Yeah it was too far from the house for an old cordless phone. It lives in
a mailbox I mounted on the deck rail. next to the cabana for
weatherproofing. I ran cable TV down to the pool. I bring a TV down there
in the summer for Sunday football games.

You can barely make out the cabana.
