Go for it... unless you want to wait around for your next life... Makes no
matter if you "need it" or not... if it makes you happy, and you can afford
it, why not? I've got lots of things that I don't need, but enjoy having.

That said, I'd nix the 4 grand fixture. You can always add that later on.

Sounds like a great remodel, and I'll bet you'll have lots of fun watching
it come together. Now you've got me thinking hmmm.
