Vlasic used to make pickles with Tabasco. They were so good. Much
better on sandwiches than plain pickles. I am told Vlasic doesn't make those anymore and I don't see any other brand that does. I am thinking I could buy dills and add my own Tabasco or chiles. Any suggestions? |

The company is Bell View ( http://www.bellview.com ) . I usually buy the cucumber chips and one day by accident I bought the "hot and sweet" version. They are fantastic and I think I have about 20 people hooked on them after they tasted them. They also have a "hot & garlic kosher" pickle too. I don't know how widely they are distributed but I noticed they have an online store. |

Been looking for them ever since! Sorry to hear they're off the market, guess I'll have to do my own now. |

I went on Vlasic's web site and those pickles are still featured. Let's e mail Vlasic and find out why and tell them we miss the pickles. |

Add hot peppers and let them sit for a couple days to a week. You could add garlic, too. Hot yellow banana peppers, jalapeños, your call. They were called something like Vlassic ZESTY Bread and Butter Pickles. I wanted to tell you the exact name but, as usual, my husband finished off the jar almost as soon as it hit the refrigerator (and he doesn't even LIKE sweet pickles!) gloria p |

I just throw in 2 or 3 of those little dried hot red peppers and let them sit for a few days. I'm sure dried red pepper flakes would work just fine also. It's worth trying adding some Tabasco sauce. I don't know what it would do to the color. -- Dan Abel Petaluma, California, USA |

They're spicy but not blazing hot. I love 'em. So do my kids. http://www.tonypackos.com/picklefinder.html Pablo |

I found the spicy b&b pickles, Sat at King Soopers! They haven't been there for a long time, at least not the times I looked. As for Tobasco dills, that sounds good, but for those, all you need to do is buy a bottle of dills and a bottle of Tobasco. Voila! Tobasco dills! I'll definitely try it. All I need to buy is the dills. |
