Hi Cathy:

Hmm.... that's how I look after eating a plate of spaghetti.... :-)

When I can remember to do so, I wear an apron during cooking. Mainly
because it gives me something on which to wipe my hands.

I don't thank it will help. Aprons don't cover arms or shoulders.

I usually wear black in the kitchen, or camo.
I got the cutest set of camo sleepwear from Cabelas. :-)
I often cook in my nightwear.

I sent her mine but asked that it not be put on the webpage. So Nancy,
you can send me your "face" privately. How about one of you making your
famous grape jelly meatballs...?

There are too many whack jobs out there who go psycho at the least
little disagreement and threaten mischief. Remember the "You stole my

Sure, but that was a picture of a child, and children are naturally
in need of protection. I just can't figure out what actual harm one
could do with an adult's photo...

Get some 3X or 4X mens t-shits ($5-6 at WalMart or Target), and either
pull them on over your clothing or slit them up the back, pull them on
like a hospital gown and saftey pin them at the back of the neck.

And for high-temp fried chicken, I prefer a kevlar pullet-proof vest.

This is why they make chef's coats. They have them with
teflon coating now, too. This teflon coated frabic is a
big hit with EMT crews, and I found they make chef's coats
with the same fabric. There is a place local to me that sells
nurses scrubs and uniforms. They also have chef's coats.
Less expensive than you'd think, though your family and
friends might think you are getting a little uppity if you
start wearing a chef's coat in your home kitchen . . . ;-)
