I've had male friends as well, into their 30's and 40's, who could pack away enormous amounts of food and not show it. Then there's the likes of me, who can be sick and unable to eat for 3 days, and gain weight. * * ( o ) maxine in ri |

I'm 6'2" and built like a brick outhouse, and she's smaller than me and weighs more than me. Not good........ for her health, that is. >I've had male friends as well, into their 30's and 40's, who > could pack away enormous amounts of food and not show it. I *still* have friends of both sexes that can do that. I was at a work party the other night and there was 2 girls there that ate enough food they could have fed several small African villages with it. And yet they are both quite svelte. > > Then there's the likes of me, who can be sick and unable to eat for 3 > days, and gain weight. Back in my 30's, I could eat 24/7 and not gain anything, but I was doing a *helluva* lot of physical work/exercise at the time. Now, all i have to do is walk past a cake shop, take a deep sniff and gain 2kgs instantly!!! -- Peter Lucas Brisbane Australia 'Enjoy today, it was paid for by a veteran' http://www.beccycole.com/albums/vide...ter_girl.shtml |

She is now close to 45, and I am sure she has been chewing and swallowing almost every waking hour since then. Frankly, I am surprised that she isn't a hell of a lot bigger than she is, considering how much she packs away. The ironic thing is that her father, SiL's first husband, is VP od a major fitness company. He is now 70 and in great shape. She has a brother and sister who are both quite fit. All of here cousins are slim and fit. They all have good appetites, but nothing compared to her. > Then there's the likes of me, who can be sick and unable to eat for 3 > days, and gain weight. Just isn't fair is it. My oldest brother used to eat at least twice as much as I do and he was always slim. I go to the gym at 3-4 days a week, plus a hard equestrian jumping lesson every week, and in the nice weather I ride my bike and average of 15-20 miles per day. A hurt my leg last month and had to cut back on my exercise and gained 8 pounds in two weeks. |
