Default REC. and question for Orange Cheesecake

Do you think the following recipe would work alright with Nancy's Orange Pie
Filling as a topping??

Ingredients
---

BASE:
1 c. sweet biscuit crumbs
1/3 c. butter, melted

FILLING:
500 g cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. castor sugar
2/3 c. natural yoghurt
grated rind of 2 oranges
1 tbs. gelatine
1/2 c. hot water
4 egg whites

Instructions
---

BASE:
Combine biscuit crumbs and butter, press into base of 22cm pan. Chill
Beat egg whites till stiff. Dissolve gelatine in water. Beat cream
cheese till smooth, add sugar and beat well. Stir in yoghurt, orange
rind and gelatine mixture. Fold in egg whites, pour over crust and
chill. Decorate with orange segments and crystallised orange rind.

TO CRYSTALLISE ORANGE RIND
Combine the peel of 2 oranges, sliced thinly into matchstick pieces,
1/2 cup water and 1 tablespoon sugar together in saucepan. Cook for 3
minutes, or until rind is tender. Drain well.
