Unless you intend to use the cardamom soon (within the next month or two) I'd
opt for whole pods.

Thanks, I will.

Now that Autumn is here, I'm in the mood to bake more ... When my new
spices arrive, I'm thinking that orange-ginger scones with raisins
would be nice.
