Default Christina Cooks?!?

A hot looking redhead (strawberry blonde??) chef on a local TV channel
cooking show with a live audience!

Is this show new or a repeat? I've never seen it! It takes place at a Whole
Foods market somewhere.

I enjoyed the segment she did about quinoa!

She responds well to the audience participation.

VERY, VERY, VERY REFRESHING!

No she is not hot. She cooks vegetarian and healthy meals, so if you are
interested in that type of cooking, she is interesting, but for some reason
I just can't stand her voice. It is very shrill.

Looks like she markets to a vegan audience. Grilled Soy Sausage
Sandwiches with Caramelized Onions? Ick!

TammyM,

I dunno. First episode I ever saw. The local channel had a run of cooking
shows today. Surprised I stumbled upon it.

Blech. Sounds dreadful. If one is going to be vegetarian...why pretend
to eat meat? Why not "grilled soy patties" instead of reminding all and
asunder that it isn't really sausage?!

Because vegetarians are not rational. Heck they aren't even human since
humans are omnivores.

My sentiments precisely. Although I like Boca Burgers (that's a brand
of veggie burgers); I LOVE tofu; and I've enjoyed both TVP (textured
vegetable protein) in veg "chili" (I know, I know, I know) and seitan.
I've never tried soy sausages, maybe they're as good as Boca Burgers
for all I know, so I guess I shouldn't cast aspersions. It just
sounds yucky to me.

You must be seeing some of her very early shows.
In her more recent ones, she's deteriorated greatly.
(Or maybe she just stopped coloring her hair and
using make-up.)

All of the ones I've seen were in a kitchen set.
The recent ones have guitar music which is so bad
it makes me hit the mute button.

The early ones had a lot of bogus quack medicine
mixed in with the cooking, but she throttled that
back in the more recent shows.

Although she emphazies vegetarian, the shows
I've seen were not strictly vegetarian or vegan.

Ever notice how a good number of the vegetarian / vegan folks are rather
sickly? I wonder how many stop to consider that they may be that way
because of their unnatural diet vs. the ones who blindly think that
their unnatural diet is going to make them healthier...

Actually I have noticed that before. Some look downright pale,
anemic, flat lifeless hair... kinda made vegetarianism look unhealthy.
