Tomorrow? When did the stay of execution come? Isn't Saturday some
sort of a holy day? My news guy (CNN?) said they don't do that stuff
on holy days. Last time I listened, he was due to be dispatched in 3
hours and that was over an hour ago.

Hanging is good enough. Get it over with already. That war has cost
us a trillion dollars and 3,000 lives so far. Was it worth it?

countries who joined us in this little escapade and I'm fully

Why? I'm sure 6 ragheads(their best shots) can shoot accurately enough to
off an old man with very little pain or suffering. The Iraqis have a lot of
experience with firing squads. Hanging now that's a different matter. How
many over there have the expertise to do it properly? Done improperly at
worst his head could separate from his body making a gruesome, albeit
entertaining, display........at best his neck wouldn't snap cleanly & he
would experience several minutes of profound agony while he slowly
strangled, doing the "crappy flop". A gruesome, albeit entertaining display

And also the orphans. I saw a program about them on TV. It's just so
sad. The worst part is that these children have no future. Not that
any Iraqi in Iraq has any future.

The Islamic world has been both the birthplace and the deathbed of
civilization and the remaining civilized world should take a good look
at it and learn some lessons fast before they implode as well.

something to do with oil. Well, I'm sorry to say, but you are way, way
off base. This war is about a number of things and oil isn't one of
them. The WMDs are and we all should be very concerned that they still
are unaccounted for. And for those who claim they did not exist, perhaps
check the UNSCOM reports. I got verification of their existence from
someone who was on the UNSCOM team and saw them firsthand.

This is your justification? Care to explain how the santions imposed by
US got Iraq to here it was? That is after US making Saddam to the

Islamic worls lost access to the library after the Inquisition. Anyone

Justification for what? It's a simple fact.

Those sanctions were UN, not US and in typical UN fashion did more harm
than good which was entirely predictable.

The Islamic world did themselves in and the remaining civilized world
should be looking closely at how it happened and trying to avoid the
same fate.

There is no "blood on my hands". I have had nothing to do with the way
the Islamic world has destroyed itself. All the meddling of the "west"
had all the impact of a flea bite, the fall of their civilization was
and is on their hands.

Fortunately despite the collapse of the middle east, the cuisine of the
