Default Searching for the name of a small cake pastery

Hello, I hope someone can identify a small cake I ate during the
Christmas holiday and would like to get more of them.

The cake was small like a petite four size with a three layer cake one
red, one white, and one green. The cakes were coated with a chocolate
ganashe and had a distinct flavor I could not place.

Any ideas?

Ask your host or hostess or the restaurant where you ate them.

Given the color combination, they were probably either Italian or
Mexican in origin. Stop into some local Italian delicatessens or
bakeries, look around and ask.

It sounded familiar, and when you mentioned Mexican the bell went off. I had
one just as described in a Mexican restaurant in San Antonio.
