I remember buying these about 20 years ago at various health food
stores, but haven't seen them in years. They were the fruit and rose hip equalivant of a bullion cube. They were wrapped in foil, came about 8 to 10 to a little cardboard box, and you dissolved them in hot water for a fruit tea. Not exactly a cube, but a flat square. I think they were imported from Great Britian. I've searched the 'net with every combination of terms possible, and haven't seen any reference to them. Has anyone of this newsgroup seen these, or know anything about them? I have a serious stomach problem and often have to go several days on clear liquids. Any variety of drinks helps break the boredom...and these would be a nostalgic reward. |
