Default TOP CHEF

Has anyone watched the top chef show on Bravo cable network? It is
getting pretty interesting. I thought Marcel was going to get
eliminated, but Betty went this time around. (she has a big mouth).

The next show they have to start up a restuant from scratch, this should
prove interesting on who stays and who goes.

Yep, my husband and I are both foodies, and we enjoy the show alot.
We're usually able to guess who is packing up their knives before they announce
it, but this last episode, I could have easily seen either Betty or Marcel
going.
I don't like watching the annoying people like Marcel, but I realize
that they keep them on to provide some conflict. By that token it is
interesting when the cool, quiet guys like Elan and Sam go ballistic on Marcel.
Isn't it also interesting that the people who have abrasive personalities like
that never really understand why people dislike them? Last season had someone
like that also.
Food related: Betty needed to STOP doing a trio for every competition.
A trio of soups in that last meal was just stupid. And so far everything that
Sam's made has sounded delish! I hope he wins. He's shown no problems with
improvising something terrific no matter what they throw at him, and with very
little grousing too. I hate when people say silly things like "I'm a XYZ chef,
what do I know about ABC?" Isn't the whole point of being a PROFESSIONAL chef
that you can improvise based on what ingredients are available?
