Be nice to all the nurses, please.

And Michael, the nurses will eat it, as will any medical staff nearby.

So if a nurse who has a prostate and gets cancer and loses it, they
aren't a Nurse anymore?

They're still a nurse. A "male nurse" implies that nurse only cares for
male patients. It is sexism to refer to a nurse by their gender as if it
is unusual or something. Just my lil pet peeve......

Understood. Even though many nurses are female, not all are. The
former minister of our church (male) was an RN. The president of the
board of directors of our church (male) is in training to become an RN.
His mother is an RN.

Not out here in the general population. To us, "male
nurse" means a nurse who is a man.

One evening, years ago, in the early 70s I was at a party.

I was introduced to a Sweet Young Thing as a nurse.

"Oh," she asked, "a male nurse?"

I bent over, unziped my fly, peeked in, ziped up and straightened up and
said, "Yup."

-Malkin

A Registered Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner who has been in nursing for
43 years and has heard most of the "male nurse" stories.

Don't blame me, I voted for the smart guy.
