Default I got Tony's book today.

A while back someone posted that if you went to the Amstel beer site and
took a survey you could get the newest Bourdain book free......well, who
ever did it....thank you, thank you, thank you......

The book came today. Nasty Bits looks to be another winner by Tony.

You're welcome! A while back they emailed saying the response was
overwhelming and it was taking a little time. Now I am back to happily
anticipating mine coming too.

Mine also arrived today. I had forgotten I signed up for it. What a
pleasant surprise among the bills and junk mail.

I don't think that I signed up for it but I am betting my son did. He
is into home brewing.

My book came yesterday as well. Have started reading it-I think that it
will make me think about the places I eat at in the future. Jan

I seem to recall that shipping it to California was not an option.
Bastids! I got my copy from the library.

My copy arrived today. I have previously read the library's copy, but
I am happy to own it. It's a good bed table book.

I haven't gone to my postal box yet so perhaps mine has arrived? Are the
books paperback or hardback?
I checked out the Amstel site again last night and enjoyed reading (and
hearing) Tony Bourdain's comments. His desires for the Thanksgiving
turkey was pretty funny but his comments on Italian food in America are
accurate, sad and funny all at the same time.

Geez... it seems like forever but it was only a Sept. 26th, 2006 Goomba38 FYI
post.

I'd forgotten all about it. Maybe tomorrow.
