How about some Chinese 5-spice powder. I just pulled off a roasted
chicken from my indoor rotisserie that I seasoned with salt, cracked pepper and 5-spice powder. The sweetness of the spices gives it a rich, subtle flavor. It's still a roast chicken, but with a hint of something different and sweet. I also baste it with butter...mmmm! Happy eating!
