I got a new stove... used, and a ventilator suction thingy
http://www.cvmt.dk/~mnielsen/home/komfur.jpg This time it is glasstop stove. It is 8 years old, but it was top of the line back then. And I was lucky to find the vent thingy from the same brand. It took some work to get it up (I've never done that before). I also had to buy some concrete tiles to elevate the stove as it was 6 cm short. My old one was 20 years old, so it is a big step forward ![]() It seems much faster (both the stove and oven) than the old one. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music, Recipes, Photos, and mo http://www.sequoiagrove.dk "You donīt frighten us, English pig-dogs! I already have some new off-white fillets (the waterproofing thing between the table and the wall), that I will put up in the weekend. The stove was $50 and the extractor fan was $25! This brand (VOSS) is normally $1000-$2000 depending on the model, and $250-$500 for the extractor fan. The reason the guy sold the stove that cheap is because the digital display for one of the heating zones is broken. So I have to guess how hot it is by estimating the angle of the knob. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music, Recipes, Photos, and mo http://www.sequoiagrove.dk "You donīt frighten us, English pig-dogs! Even better, get a surface thermometer. $40 for IR and around $80 for laser. With all the money you saved, you can afford it ![]() Sue(tm) Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself! |
