I accidentally bought some thyme even though I wasn't out of it. It'll
take me two years to go through 2 ounces, unless you know of any recipes that use a lot of that spice - preferably not ones that demand expensive ingredients or a huge amount of beef or chicken. Help, please? Lenona. |

![]() My grandmother grew thyme. She put it in every savory dish she made. It is good in just about everything so just use it. If you can dry some of it, that would be wonderful. Hang a bundh upsidedown in a dry place for a few days, then, you can put the dried herb in jars and keep it for a very long time/thyme. |

Help, > please? Thyme is not a spice, it's an herb, a rather inexpensive herb, that can be used in myriad dishes (great in omelets and baked into breads). Assuming you're talking dried it will keep a number of years if securely packaged and kept frozen. Of course you can always smoke it. Sheldon Bong |
