1 part baking soda to 2 parts cream of tartar.

Yogurt can be used in place of cream of tartar, but I don't remember the
proportions. I'd have to check mom's notes in her cookbook.

Not bad trolling. You were doing fine when you said that baking powder
was poisonous and you wanted to avoid it for yourself, but you gave
yourself away with the battle cry that everyone should avoid it and then
brought Monsanto into it. Using the word "chemical" to mean everything
evil on the face of the earth was another clue. Here's more information

Cancer isn't a new disease, and neither is Alzheimer's.
It's only been in the last 100 years that improvements in
hygiene and medical care have enabled people to die
of them rather than some infection that's now readily
eliminated with antibiotics.

But he didn't say salt does. Pure sodium is extremely reactive, and reacts
exothermically. Other elements will burst into flames too. Aluminium
powder and shavings can spontaneously combust.

Nah, just use it for your headwear...

seriously, if Aluminum was the ONLY thing you touched on, I'd give you a
pass, but Cream of Tartar? Give me a freakin break, it's Tartaric Acid, a
by product, once upon a time, of wine production, just as yeast was once a
byproduct of beer production.
