Default Wine, The gift of gods.

When I was a boy... 6 - 7 years old.. my Dad decided to give us
children a little wine with our meals. I remember those little child
size glass goblets... they had a diamond pattern around the sides...
they were heavy... We were given about 3 ounces or less... of red
wine. We sipped on it throughout our meal. I didn't really like it or
dislike it.. it was strong in my opinion. Each sip was so
distinguished, I remember it well.

Wine is excellent for keeping your digestion cycle in good shape.

I have found red wine to be appropriate no matter how I'm feeling.
If my stomach is upset... wine can put everything back on track.
Especially if I'm sick.

Sometimes our digestion just gets sour. I don't know what else to call
it.

Loose stool, no stool, sour stomach, heart burn.. etc... wine can fix
all of this.. it can fix it, I'm certainly not saying it's a cure all.

Of course we all know that sulphates are a good antioxidant,
fermentation is good for healing and maintaining our digestive tract.
Wine can make for a merry heart, and a merry heart is medicine.

No, they are actually allergens and might be carcinogens. I think you
mean flavonoids? They are great antioxidants.

A merry heart can morph into a bulletproof heart and land you in
jail, too.

But I know you know that.

Unless you are allergic to the sulphates (sulphides?) a couple of sips
of wine and i have a bad headache, i can cook with it and get no ill
effects, and i used to purchase only european wines because they were
mainly sulphate free but now a days it seems even they are adding
sulphates, and i just don't like wine enough, even for cooking, to buy
the "organic" california wines, which iirc are allowed to be made
without sulphates?
