I was wet, and a bit cool, and we were taking #1 daughter to lunch. I
wanted Indian, but the SO and #1 outvoted me and we ended up at Montezumas. http://www.montezumas.com.au/frame_intro.htm We had a 1/2 serve of San Antonio to start with. Then for mains #1D got a Carne combo (#7), the SO had #8 and I had #10......... I didn't see #9 at the time otherwise I would have tried that one....... it may have had some flavour. For the most part, the food was bland. We ended up full, but unsatisfied. The best part is #1D spent most of the night projectile vomiting etc :-) Which means we won't be going back there again!! :-) I told them we should have got Indian!!! -- Peter Lucas Brisbane Australia 'Enjoy today, it was paid for by a veteran' http://www.beccycole.com/albums/vide...ter_girl.shtml |

Hope she'll be ok! Personally, I just cannot abide Indian food. I've tried and tried to like it, but I don't care if I never go to another Indian restaurant. The food is either bland and tasteless or hotter than hell. I like chinese better than anything else when we go out. That or a good steak house. -- Peace, Om Remove _ to validate e-mails. A similar concept chain opened up a few locations in my area with the same hype that the owners of the original place had such a great restaurant they had to franchise it. I have been there a few times with friends and each time we agreed that it was lame at best. It is hard to beat a good neighborhood taqueria for Mexican food. |

Maybe, instead of Montezuma's Delight, they should have a menu item "Montezuma's Revenge"? <VEG> TammyM |

There have been some good suggestions on Austin.food that I've not tried yet. I'd have to be talked into it tho' <G> The places in San Antonio that my sister dragged me to sucked, and they were _horribly_ over-priced! > > > > I like chinese better than anything else when we go out. I'd thought of that too but did not say anything. Well done! -- Peace, Om Remove _ to validate e-mails. "My mother never saw the irony in calling me a Son of a bitch" -- Jack Nicholson |
