THANK YOU! I'd forgotten. I just started reading "Bone in the
Throat" last night. The opening chapter is a giggler and a half:

"I guess now you'll be asking me to stop using corn starch in the
demi-glace."

Gotta love him! (except sf, of course)

TammyM,

You're welcome.

I love his think-on-your-feet off-the-cuff remarks. He's a funny guy
without really trying, imho.

Thanks from me, too, Andy. I didn't know it was on.

I've grabbed the lap top and planted myself in front of the tube. I love
AB also. I never remember when to watch the show and just stumble on it
most times.
To quote Paris Hilton (gag) "He's Hot" LOL

You should see the pic on the back of _Bone in the Throat_ (more than
10 years old).

TammyM, fanning herself

p.s. now if he only didn't smoke....

Yeah. Too bad he drinks like a fish and smokes like a chimney. Sadly I
imagine he won't be around for long at that rate.

Some folks can't be told!

Hilarious!

Was just watching the New Jersey episode with Mario Batali:

(Mario sprinkles some confectioners sugar on AB's pastry)

Mario: Here, I just dusted ya.
AB: This stuff looks strangely familiar...
Mario: (nodding.) Mm-hmm. Oh, the 80's!

Good stuff.

Hasta,
Curt Nelson

The beauty of TIVO. AB automagically appears. :-)
