I might be missing something really simple, here (it's happened! <g>),
but I can't see it. Perusing the label of a can of soup, today, I noticed the instruction to store leftovers in the fridge in a seperate container. What's wrong with sticking the sauce pan in there if there's room and it's likely that you're going to be eating the rest soon? -- Blinky RLU 297263 Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://blinkynet.net/comp/uip5.html |

The pot IS a separate container... the label is refering to a container separate from the soup can. DUH! |

That was covered by my qualification "you're going to be eating the rest soon". That's why I made it. "Soon" meant "sooner than you'll need the pan for something else." -- Blinky RLU 297263 Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://blinkynet.net/comp/uip5.html |

I don't think they are referring to your pot at all. Just don't store the extra in the can. nancy |

Since the instructions have already had you take it *out* of the can and put it in another vessel for cooking, I logically read "separate" as meaning "separate" from what it's in (that cooking vessel) when you need to store it. I'll just chalk it up to kind of odd writing. ![]() -- Blinky RLU 297263 Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://blinkynet.net/comp/uip5.html |
