Hmmmm interesting...wouldn't you say.


This turned out wonderful and it was easy and on the table in no time with
minimal fuss. Not many dishes either ... always a plus point. The nutrtional
info isn't bad either!

Oven-Fried Chicken with Yogurt and Garlic

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 cup Dannon Nonfat Plain Yogurt
1/2 cup salt free seasoned bread crumbs
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons Kraft Reduced Fat Grated Parmesan Topping
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
1 1/8 pounds Smart Chicken boneless skinless chicken breasts

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly spray a cooking sheet (or baking pan)
with vegetable cooking spray.

In a shallow bowl yogurt and garlic in a bowl.

In a separate bowl combine remaining ingredients except chicken.

Dip each piece of chicken in yogurt mixture, then roll it in bread crumb
mixture. Put chicken pieces in baking pan. Lightly spray top of chicken with
vegetable cooking spray.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until no longer pink in center.

[Mary's Notes: Made this 2/15/07 for dinner and it was excellent. Quick,
easy and on the table in no time but tastes great! It cooked for 45-50
minutes and was done! Mastercook nutritional information is correct for the
products I used.]
