Default Lunch Today

Had a bunch of errands to run and afterwards I stopped at the little store
down the street to pick up lunch from their buffet, something I indulge in
only rarely. Good thing I got there when I did; they've been busy!

I got chicken & dressing (the last of it) tender pieces of chicken mixed
with cornbread dressing. An order of homemade mac & cheese, green beans
cooked with bacon as sides and a cornbread muffin. A real country-style
meal for under $5.

Sounds like first-rate comfort food!!!

Had a buffalo cheeseburger and a handful of potato chips with a tall glass
of iced orange juice and a couple SweetTarts for dessert.

It is! And not the way I usually eat. But on occasion I figure why not?
It was enough food for both lunch and dinner, too. So I'll just heat up the
rest this evening.

A buffet that let's you take-home...?
(or do you have one of those poly-lined purses...?)
