Default Jokes! Don't read them if you don't want to

MY GRANDMOTHER STARTED WALKING FIVE MILES A DAY WHEN SHE WAS 60. SHE'S
97 NOW & WE DON'T KNOW WHERE THE HELL SHE IS!

THE ONLY REASON I WOULD TAKE UP JOGGING IS SO I COULD HEAR HEAVY
BREATHING AGAIN.

I JOINED A HEALTH CLUB LAST YEAR, SPENT ABOUT 400 BUCKS. HAVEN'T LOST A
POUND. APPARENTLY YOU HAVE TO SHOW UP?

I HAVE TO EXERCISE IN THE MORNING BEFORE MY BRAIN FIGURES OUT WHAT I'M
DOING.

I DON'T EXERCISE AT ALL. IF GOD MEANT US TO TOUCH OUR TOES, HE WOULD
HAVE PUT THEM FURTHER UP OUR BODY.

I LIKE LONG WALKS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE TAKEN BY PEOPLE WHO ANNOY
ME.

I HAVE FLABBY THIGHS, BUT FORTUNATELY MY STOMACH COVERS THEM.

THE ADVANTAGE OF EXERCISING EVERY DAY IS THAT YOU DIE HEALTHIER.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO TRY CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING, START WITH A SMALL
COUNTRY.

I DON'T JOG... IT MAKES THE ICE
JUMP RIGHT OUT OF MY GLASS.

Why not post them instead to the appropriate newsgroup, Dora? Posting
then here serves only to further degrade the group.

Compared to some of the crap that's been posted here lately, I kinda
enjoyed these jokes... So, while we're working out all of the proper
rules of ettiquette... what's the proper group for posting about
about Margaret's computer? I noticed you had time in your busy
schedule for that one... For the record, I had no problem with
nancy's post, but the hypocracy around here is getting rediculous...

OB Food: Is the Pot calling the Kettle black? Took the kid out for
dinner tonight. Had samosas and biryani with onion naan. Tomorrow
she starts at a new school, with less than 15 weeks to go in the
school year. She's excited. DH and I are reserving our opinions
pending further input.

P. S. it's etiquette, hypocrisy , and ridiculous. Use your spell-
check.

I like a good joke (and some bad ones) as much or as more as any, I'm
guessing. I've got a great sense of humor. And when I want to fine one
on Usenet, I go to rec.humor. funny. Or open my email.

Heck if I know. When you figure it out, let me know. Maybe
alt.whats.up.with.margarets.computer?

> I noticed you had time in your busy schedule for that one...

Dude, I've got time in my busy schedule for any and all. It's not a
matter of having time or having a busy schedule; it's about starting a
thread that so clearly belongs in another group.

For the record, I don't have a problem with it, either. Margaret's a
much-loved poster to r.f.c., always gracious, generous to a fault with
those she's met in person and at least one she's never met in person.
The world is full of hypocrisy and hypocrites, Fred; it's the spelling
that annoys me. "-) It's a bias I have. A character flaw maybe.
Likely, even.

Hell I haven't even met her and I like her. I hear she forces Barb to not
drink.

I don't think you are degrading this group- there are plenty of others
handling that!

Well, Margaret is both nice and encourages *everyone* to drink.
Including Barb.

A more graceful hostess you will never find.
