Default Hershey's Unsweetened Baking Chocolate - Gone?

I can no longer find it here (Minneapolis). Is it still on your
shelves? Here it is usually in the flour, sugar, and spices aisle.

What does their web site say about the product? Big companies are usually
pretty good about updating their product info pages when things are added or
discontinued. And, what is the name of the store where you can no longer
find the product?

Here's your chance to flog me in public, Joe -- don't miss it!! I
hadn't checked the Hershey website. But a nice net friend of mine sent
the page to me that shows it as an available product.
Ouch! Ouch! Cut it out, Joe, dammit!! Stop!! Ooooh, Jo-o-e-e-e, I
kinda like that. . . .

I'm not going to tell you what the store is. :-P

That's too bad (the store). I have 3 gigabytes of data which may enable me
to tell you if your supermarket chain carries the product. If they do, then
you know it was someone's silly idea to not stock it in certain stores, and
you can do a little dance on the manager's head if she/he says "Duh we don't
carry it any more". :-)

We had only one store that carried a large variety of Hershey baking
items, including mint chocolate chips - and now that's closed (Cub
Foods). I don't know where I'll find them for my holiday baking next
year. Maybe Amazon or Sweet Celebrations.

Default Hershey's Unsweetened Baking Chocolate - Gone? - Well, well, well

I was in a Roundy's store this evening and checked the baking aisle.
Now, boys and girls, we have Hershey Baking Bars. Four ounces, instead
of 8 ounces, marked in half-ounce portions. 3/$4.98. Unsweetened
chocolate.

I wonder how long before Baker's packages their baking chocolates in
that "candy bar" wrapper as Hershey's and Nestle's are doing.

Unless I miss my guess, Hershey's does mail-order.

As one of the Hershey's plants is just 6 or so miles from the house we get
all our chocolate at the outlet store. Man you can save money there , much
cheaper than the grocery store. I haven't even looked whether our groceries
have it.

Glad you found it available.

Iowa. (This is the first time that Iowa has been mistaken for
Colorado - usually, it's Ohio City, Idaho. LOL.)
