The latest entry on Carol's blog about Bob Pastorio's condition seemed
to indicate that he will die very soon. Does anybody know if there is
a charity the family has selected for donations in his memory?

Second Harvest maybe?

Modom,

Thanks for your post. Several members of the Foodwine group have been in
touch with Carol about this. Bob Pastorio does not have a favorite charity,
but (more than likely) a college fund for Carla will be set up through a
bank.

Chris, will this information be posted on the blog? Many of us love
Pastorio. I feel for his daughter, I was blessed with my father in my
life for 37 years. It's going to be so difficult for Carla.

That's a really good idea. In our city they have a food closet named after
Dr. M.L. King. Giving them a sack of groceries would ease the pain fer sure.
