Time wise, we're ahead (are we???), technology wise, we're just
behind...... but food wise..... you guys are back in the dark ages and
we're world leaders!!!

I know, because I cooked a bloody magnificent manly meaty meal tonight
(as opposed to my housebitch role!!)...... char grilled Rib Fillet
steaks (melt in the mouth type!!) with roasted garlic butter, along with
baked Kangaroo sausages (I put the lid of the Weber on before I put the
steaks on), and a freash mescalun/rocket and fruit salad.......... *AND*
I took some bloody good photos with my new camera...... but they were
lost in transition :-/

New camera, new software......... it'll take me a coupla days to figger
it out.

Bugger!!

Pity about the photos...

Kangaroo sausages?? New one on me

Is it still warm enough for using your Weber in your part of the globe?
- its getting a bit "iffy" here.

Happy (belated) Birthday

You want real Dutch Oven recipes and techniques?

Clicky, clicky:

http://papadutch.home.comcast.net/

http://www.macscouter.com/Cooking/DutchOven.html

http://www.idos.com/

http://www.dutchovencookware.com/dut...n-recipes.html

I don't remember which recipes I've used from these websites, but I never
found one that wasn't at least good, more than likely, excellent. It has
been a while, though.

I'll look forward to that.. thanks Peter

Sorry I missed your birthday - happy belated for 23 August 2006 - am
impressed you're still skydiving at 50!!

(went scrolling back through messages to see if I'd really forgotten
to send bd wished & came across the diatribe from Greg Moron on 4
April this year... started with recipe testing post (chicken
tikka).... have NO idea how I missed the fallout from that... thanks
for your comments and I can assure you Gmoron is living in some
testosterone driven adolescent delusion - but you knew that anyway!
Certainly made for interesting reading lol)

Likewise have added note to my online comp calendar so you'll be
assured of at least one HB on 23/8/07

cheers,

LadyJane
