About 9 months ago, the editor contacted me. She was looking at web
sites and came across mine. She asked if we would mind being
featured in her magazine. Of course, we were flattered. Well months
later, smithfarms.com and we are indeed in the May/June issue. I
don't know what pages exactly because she hasn't sent me my copy yet,
but if you do get the Paula Deen Cooking Magazine, and you see a
couple of coffee farmers, that's us.

Thanks everybody. It was just our good luck and the magazine staff
was very easy to work with. I couldn't do everything-- like illustrate
how we make my grandmother's 100 year old mango chutney recipe because
the mangos weren't ripe and you only can use certain kinds, but they
were understanding about it all. Fun.

Well, I stopped by Barnes & Noble. The're still displaying
the March/April issue. I'll keep checking.
