Default Last night's stuffed mushrooms

Did you notice that tiny pic now has another link option listed.
They call it "Direct link for layouts" and it doesn't have the bracket
image garbage. The link is just as shown below.

I bought some nice Italian sausage and some stuffing mushrooms.
Toasted some sourdough bread to make some bread crumbs to which I
added some coarsely chopped basil

Cooked the sausage off with a chopped up mushroom and the stems. Then
deglazed the pan with some vermouth. Then cooked that until the juices
were about gone.

Got everything ready for stuffing

I crammed as much in those babies as I could ;-) and topped with
freshly grated parmesan cheese

They were really delicious, and not in the least overcooked. The
mushrooms still had some body to them, just like I like. mmmm

Those look absolutely wonderful. I think I'm going to have to get some
fixin's for some stuffed mushrooms. We can make a dinner of stuffed
mushrooms around here.
