Default New Orville Redenbacher TV commercials?!!

About the new commercials, I know this is an imposter.

What do they gain by passing off this fake?

Do they really think we don't know the original Orville died???

Friggin' kreatives!!!

I find it creepy. Either Time or US News and World Reports did a write up
on this for their business section. Seems the popcorn had a loss in sales
since ol' Orville went to the great popper in the sky so the powers that be
took old film footage of him and computer enhanced it, placing him in
current situations as if he were still alive and younger. Shades of Star
Trek and the Holodeck.....

Well that's a shame, 'cause he looks neither alive nor younger. Fact is,
he looks as though he escaped from Madame Tussaud.

It was one thing to have Fred Astaire dance with a vacuum cleaner. That
was at least still graceful and fluid. This Redenbacher thing is pathetic.

There's a guy in Portland, OR who's a CPA with a major,
national accounting firm. I'd guess he's about 65 now. He
is truly the most jaw-dropping, stunningly spitting image of Orville R.
