Andy
The pops in the background are for the "Stamp Out Hunger" USPS drive.

I've never had one but it does look good. Can you make them without
the cups you have? Would a ramekin work?

Blow pops are gonna help stamp out hunger?

Your popovers look great!

Lou,

I don't know. The popover pan cups have a depth and sidewall angle that
really make them popover and crown.

Muffin pans and probably ramekins will turn them into doughy "low-rise"
popover muffins.

Of course not, but for 400 kids who leave a food bank, they get a bonus
lollypop and bubble gum when they lick it down to the center. I'd like to
imagine they'll feel "on top of the world" for awhile.

Looks delicious. Please tell us what you ate with your popovers for lunch.

BTW, next time you take a photo, include that little bottle of Elmer's
glue, just so we'll know it is really you and not an imposter. ;-)

I munched a bunch of "baby" carrots while the popovers were baking.

They look just like mine - yer makin' me hungry. ;-)

When I make them, it's usually a spur-of-the-moment thing, and I just
slather them with butter and have at it. Nothing else required.

Yeah... they allegedly had a USPS food drive here a few years ago. I bought
a bunch of food and the postal worker never picked it up; someone forgot to
tell her about it. The neighbor kids stole the crispy tacos from the "taco
dinner kit", though. Guess they couldn't afford Doritos.

Sorry Andy, I must have confused you with someone else. As far as
popovers, I like them with honey and butter. I have been on a honey and
butter kick, lately.

You can make them in regular muffin tins... I do.

Nope. You just have to control the amout of batter properly. Mine
are large, puffy and light.... w/o the aide of a popover tin.

No, it's the same Andy whose pictures always included a bottle of Elmer's
glue in the tray on the table, e.g., http://www.tinypic.com/3y5hf6o.jpg.

He's just being coy, Becca!

We've all come to know and love his signature bottle of Elmer's glue,
but it has to be on "the tray" in the background.

Thanks. I have a sinus infection so I am medicated, but not that much.
