Does anyone have the recipe for the coffee cake that the 4-H Club used
in the 1960's for competition in fairs, etc???

2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of salt
3/4 cup cream of tartar

mix and bake

yes, that was just the icing...
for the cake, double the recipe but add 2lbs of sugar.. pour into
jello mold and bake at 350deg for about one hour and 20 mins

turn the oven off
let it cool off before you try to retrieve it

best cake you ever put in your mouth
