Default Dinner 11May

I spent the afternoon in the kitchen (rain will do that to you!!) making
a Malaysian beef curry and a Lamb Bourguignon. It was going to be a Beef
Bourguignon, but I grabbed the wrong bag out of the freezer and didn't
look at it properly.... Oh well!!

The SO came home from work and I asked her to pick which one we'd have
for dinner...... thinking that as she has a love of lamb, that'd be the
one. She picked the curry!!

The lamb sauce was a combo of spices, tinned tomatos, red wine and
*coffee*!! Tasted great too!!

I used a most of these........

and threw in some of my own stuff.

I also had one lonely cob of corn in the crisper, so I denuded it,
sliced it into 1/2" 'wheels' then cut them in half and just chucked the
lot into the mix.

The end result........ the SO now has plenty of gourmet meals for
lunches next week :-)
