Default He-e-e-ey, Janie!

Two more butts are under way. I've got them in the Nesco 10-quart at
just under 250 degrees (I don't know how accurate the temp is) and
they've been going for about 3-1/2 hours. (It's still "lit." I don't
know what happened yesterday . . . )

Git a wiggle on, Girl! :-)
Love,
Mom

*Grin* Thanks for the encouragement, sorry I didn't reply sooner.
Trust me, I haven't forgotten -- I owe a dinner to some friends who
would *love* pork cooked this way. Now if only I can get a weekend
that isn't already full, I could get on it. My parents came down
from North Washington last weekend to attend a school fundraiser
that included a nice, catered dinner. Lovely time, but not much
chance for cooking.

Anyway, do keep me posted on how yours are going and when you're
doing your RMH dinner. And hopefully get a chance to drag my roaster
out and try it myself SOON... :-)

I've roasted up about 42-45# of raw pigmeat and have about 20# of
shredded meat in the freezer. Dinner at Ronald McDonald House is at
5:30 on Sunday, June 24. That'll be the first dinner. Probably gonna
be two more -- I should consult with them about available dates.
