Does anyone have any experience with one of these type ranges?
They look very intereting.

I don't believe there are a bunch of aga users here. Search google for
past comments. Try to find a store that will let you cook with them.
They are suited to English climate (which is very similar to my climate)
but it is not ideal in alot of places. Where are you?

I've used them in English country houses. Takes some getting used to,
but that nice warm kitchen in winter is a pleasure. Not to mention the
unlimited amounts of hot water ready at all times.
If you are considering getting one, make certain your floor can take the
weight.

A knowledgeable friend cooked on one while house-sitting. She really liked
it. But, it might not work well for you during the summer.

I think an AGA probably works best someplace where the constant heat
year-round is helpful; someplace with a short summer, or not a hot one.

I'd plan on another cooking source for the summers. I recall Wisconsin
in August:as hot (and biting insects). Here in Pugetopolis, where a
source of radiant heat to hang your wet clothes next to is just great
about 9 months a year.
