It is not that off base, her credentials are as good a Rachael Ray's.
If that really counts for anything.

She has authored an award winning cookbook (Easy Exotic, 1999) and
hosted several cooking series Melting Pot (Food Network, 2001) and
Planet Food (BBC, Food Network & Discovery).
