Look at a box of Trader Joe's "Joe's O's" (a Cheerios knock-off). Look at the
Nutritional Facts panel. See the vitamin B12 25% line? Notice the next line... Manesium 8% Uh-oh... should be Magnesium 8% First typo I've ever found. Called it in. No lifetime supply reward. The BUMS!!! Oh well, Andy |

I could be wrong. Isn't this the way that Kirkland products from Costco also does it? I feel (and maybe wrongly so) that there is a little more standard-of- care with at least these two names on foods that I buy. But even they cannot be guarding the gate at all times. Dee |

DH put a new fan in the refrigerator today, and I found even more. Isn't it that 90% of vitamins now are coming from China. Minerals should be an easy one for them. ;-)) |

Rarely do I read such a document and not find at least one grammatical or typing error. This is common for products made outside the United States, but a lot of the documentation I read was written right here in the good old USA. |

Which reminds me of the time the spell checker missed the word "adit" in something I wrote. I meant "audit". It wasn't flagged as an error because there is a word "adit", and I actually knew what it meant. The School of Mines at the university I went to had an adit for the education of their students. An adit is a blind, horizontal tunnel. However, I think any competently designed spell checker should flag "adit" as an error unless specifically instructed not to. It is far more likely that "adit" is a misspelling of "audit". |

Nonie Mouse Within the near future, spell checkers will be able to recognize not just grammatical errors but also errors of logic. Hopefully, such spell checkers will be built into all web browsers, which will dramatically change the nature of discourse on the net. "Are you sure you meant to say 'George W. But the default should be to flag "adit" as an error, even though it is a real word. I'm sure there's lots of other words like that -- uncommon words which are more often errors than correct usage. Someone should invent a name for such words. Oh, okay, I'll do it. "Malographs." Hmmm.... Google shows such a word already exists, but only in German. I wonder what it means. |

Not if you work in mining, which I do. The entrance to any underground mine is referred to as an adit. I work in finance and compliance so audit is a common word also. Oh dear, the confusion ;-) JB |
