Ingredients
* 1 kg of mushrooms * 500g of chicken liver * 2-3 onions Preparation * Cut the mushrooms in small pieces * Cut the onions * Brown the equivalent of 1/2 onion in sunflower oil, when ready add the mushrooms and stir for 1-2 minutes * Cover and let it cook on a slow fire for 10 minutes Mushrooms cooked with onion * Remove the mushrooms * Start browning the rest of onion in sunflower oil and when hot add the chicken liver. Stir until the chicken liver is 90% cooked (5 minutes). Chicken liver * Add the mushrooms and let it cook for another 5 minutes Mushrooms cooked with onion * Serve with polenta. Sometimes I add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the onions. And I squeeze more lemon juice over the finished dish. Pictures are okay. Neither they nor the recipe made me curious to look around the rest of the site. -aem |
