Default Sorry in advance.....

I just wanted to let you know that we may be getting an influx of nastiness
and it's my fault. There's a guy (Kevin S. Wilson) on another group who
loves messing with my husband, follows my husband around from group to group
and crossposts to those groups. He crossposted to this group recently,
because he knows that I've been on this group for years and he wants to
embarrass us. Sadly, he works with my uncle at Boise State University and
because of that, I've been keeping my mouth shut, taking his crap, until
today.

I sent a message back, not crossposted to this group, and unfortunately, I'm
sure we'll start seeing an influx of crap.

Here's my message in relation to another post to the barbecue group:

"And he's got to crosspost my husband's ramblings to RFC. I am so very
grateful for that. Those people are my friends and have supported me
to no end through my recent cancer ordeal. Kevin is TRULY a gem (gag, gag,
cough, cough). Sorry for spouting, but for the first time in the history of
Kevin on ABF, am I ****ed off enough to........ooooooooh.........call his
boss? (Sorry, Dan, I borrowed that one.)

It takes a lot to get me ****ed off and although I know Kevin excels at
getting people to fight with him, it's all I can do to be somewhat gracious.
Today, he really ****ed me off.

Rule #1, DON'T attack my husband (he's really a nice guy and has taken
excellent care of me through my entire ordeal) and

Rule #2, DON'T crosspost to a group that I've been in for the past 10 years,
making my husband sound like a racist idiot.

RFC doesn't want your biogeted, slamming, SHIT Kevin. I don't care if you
work with my Uncle at Boise State - I'll risk my reputation and family ties
by saying.... you can go **** yourself!!!!!!!!!

You now have my permission to follow me around Usenet. Your drones can
follow your shit skidmark."

So, now you all know. I hope we don't get infiltrated, but if we do. I'm
sorry!

Why do you read his stuff? You have filtering ability, and unlike
certain other people, Kevin doesn't constantly morph his ID.

Not to worry. We've dealt with this sort of thing in the past and we all
know to ignore the crap and hopefully not cross-post replies to idiots.

I'm not going to spend a lot of time researching this mess, Kili....
but I googled back a couple of months and didn't find anything
remotely offensive posted by TFM.

Kevin's going back about 5 years ago when Allan mentioned Martin Luther
"Coon" Boulevard. He's not let it go since. He's been trolling Allan
because of that. He's a pesky thorn.

Sigh, tell that to Kevin. It's so stupid. He e-mails, he threatens, he's a
PITA. I've kept quiet because, oddly enough, he works with my uncle and
anything said transfers over, if you know what I mean. I can't keep quiet
anymore.

Actually, I don't know what you mean. He tattles? Do you have a
relationship with your uncle? If so, it's time to tell him what a
jerk that man is.... I bet he'll tell you that he already knows!

My uncle told me that Kevin is an esteemed colleague. I find that amazing.
Kevin tells Charlie tales about Allan and me and Charlie tells my step-mom,
who in turn tells my father. It's so childish.

I wonder how 'esteemed' your uncle would thing Kevin is after he read what
he posts on usenet. Heck, just forward Kevin's usent posting to your uncle.

Sigh, I should, Dave. I've just kept it quiet until today. I hate the way

He's certainly tattling to Kili's uncle and her uncle is spreading the
gossip back to her family. You never know. Her uncle may already
know what he posts and this may be their perverted form of
entertainment.

In any case, I think Jill is right too. Kili should killfile him.

People like this are just not worth raising your blood pressure over. I
learned that the hard way

Which was, by the way, an intolerable statement that he SHOULD have
apologized for. It's the reason I KFed your dear hubby and continue to
do so for all his various personalities.

Kevin's an ass, but TFM is far from innocent in all this. He's been
baiting Kevin for years over on AFB. To paint him as a poor picked-on
victim of stalking is ridiculous.

Oh Kili, I feel for you. I have one like that dogging me occasinally on
Usenet. Some people feel it's their duty to bad mouth others. Little
does my little stalker know, but I've got ALL his info, license number,
house address, phone number, etc.

The lesson my stalker is learning is that you never screw with someone
that has lots of friends in the criminal justice community.

I agree. I think that the members of the Board of Regents, and the Governor
of Idaho should be sent copies as well. Heck, let's send it to some of the
media outlets, too. Since he's using the taxpayer's resources, and being
paid by the taxpayers, maybe they'd like to know what they're getting for
their money.

Come on Steve, let's be honest here for a minute. TFM has been engaged
in a multi-year flameware with Kevin, not just willingly, but gleefully.

Were he in the least concerned, he could have killfiled Kevin and put
an email block on him 5 years ago. To paint him as the victim of a
cyberstalker is just not the facts. You know it.

Well, yeah. But nobody's here claiming that you've been stalked and
abused. If they did, I'd make the same argument about you.

I don't see it. It takes two to tango, and even more so on usenet.
Kevin's behaved badly, but I can't believe TFM would really proudly
pass around a lot those posts he makes to friends and family. Maybe I'm
wrong.

This is pretty damned silly.

No, I think silly was the right word.

Actually, no I haven't for the most part. I killfiled him, and once I
got the capability I filtered ARK. That keeps most of this crud off my
monitor.

TFM and Kevin sure have one thing in common, their posts are NOT worth
the time it takes to read them. At least Kevin doesn't morph his ID.
Once you killfile him, he STAYS there.

> And to brag about where he works?

Hey, at least he's honest!

I know TFM is your buddy, and I'm sure that everything Kili says about
him being a great, supportive, loving guy is true. However, on usenet
you are what you post.

Much as I hate to agree with Brian, as Harry Nillson said in the wonderful
musical version of his cartoon about everyone being different, 'The Point',
"He's got a point there!"

Why engage? Why bother? But now it's bothering kili so TFM cut it out!
Block, delete, whatever. Don't let it bother you. Stop and smell the

You've got some nerve talking about "biogeted" when you're married to
one of the biggest biogets on the usenet.

You have a point to a degree, and I have been ignoring it for years on
AFB. However, it's spilling over here now, so let's at least get the
record straight. This is a flamewar, not a cyberstalking. Like any
flamewar, more than enough blame on both (or in this all) sides.

I belonged to a BBS for many years. After some time, people thought it
would be nice to meet in person. We had a number of different events.
There were several marriages. Some people were the same in person as on
line, some were way different.

It's possible that Kevin has two personalities, it isn't unusual.

My husband is one of those, Dan. He can be an absolute ass on Usenet, but
he's a wonderful man in person. I met him on Usenet back
in..........gosh......1999? We finally got married in 2004. There are
*quite* a few people that like to stir up trouble in certain circles. I've
been trying to ignore it, but when it affects RFC, I take it personally. I
consider RFC my family. I'm sure all the alt.kibology fans will love THIS
particular post. Sigh. Tear me a new one kibbles and bits.

There ain't no stalking going on. There's a flamewar, been going on for
years.

Not a one of them, Kili included, ever needed to read Kevvie's stuff.
All they ever had to do was employ the most basic of tools, the
killfile. TFM chose to maintain this years long flamewar all on his
own. Go read his posts in alt.food.barbecue.

Kevin is an ass. So is TFM. There're no victims here, and I'm getting
tired of the "oh woe, poor picked on TFM, boo hoo."
