Default My morning in and around the QVC channel.

What I didn't like:

The place is cramped and dusty in areas. Maybe 2,000 sq. ft.
Poor organization of most items, except jewelry, shows and clothes.
They only had about 4 cookbooks.
Lots of stuff was open and picked over and laying around.

What I did like:

I got to see up close and personal, some of the funniest and gaudiest junk
they actually sell on the QVC channel.
Bins full of pots and pan covers of all kinds.
Everything was 40% off.

What did I buy?

A metal trivet that sits inside a crockpot. Shaped just right AND it fits
mine! $2.59 after discount.

Would I go back?

Maybe in the fall to see how fast the funny and gaudy stuff rotates.

I mistakenly drove up to the QVC studios. Now that's a well oiled machine!
They give tours and two ladies I stopped for info as they were walking out
said they got to sit in during the morning show taping. I didn't know they
had an audience and they said you had to make special reservations. I asked
was it fun and they both said it was great fun.

I stepped inside and got directions to the Outlet store. They gave me a
sheet with directions and the cashier in the Studio store was nice enough
to hilite the block of directions from the studios.

As I left, there were the same two ladies standing in front of the giant
QVC Studios sign having their picture taken. I rolled down the window and
yelled "You two oughtta be in pictures!!!" Laughs all around.

Aside: On the way to the outlet I saw a blank billboard with "If you're
looking for a sign, this is it!" with "Call..." on it. My first thought
was, Jesus is coming!
