That cracked me up. They didn't even try to hide it with sauce or
sides or anything. Just a hard dry duck breast, crookedly placed on a
plate. I don't know whether or not I admire then for doing that.

After all, Melissa *did* say not to present it! Dang, the herbed grilled
frozen half duck I bought at the grocery store looked (and tasted!) better
than that.

I really wanted one of the other women to slap her.

I wanted Chef Ramsay to slap her! But of course he couldn't. I can't wait
until next Monday to see what happens with her on the blue team. Rock said
OMG when he found out she'd been moved to their team. He's clearly a leader
but he doesn't push people around. This should be fun!

Thanks for the BIG laugh this morning - DH and I spent 15 minutes
revisiting/discussing the show and the remark "It's a duck breast"
sent us over the top!

Yup..that's got to go into the tv quotes hall of fame. But it has to
be said deadpan.

DH & I tape Hell's Kitchen to watch later in the week, so we just
saw it yesterday. I was stunned at Melissa's attitude. I honestly
wonder if she hasn't lost her mind! What makes her think everyone
should have been listening to her? And putting the other woman's
duck breast *back* into the oven? Such gall...

I think you might be onto something there. She seemed a little bit
more than just rattled or muddle-headed.

She can't take the heat, so she should get out of the kitchen.

No, she's been bad attitude girl since the beginning. A very sullen
girl. I think they just showed more of it this week. She's always been
grabby and bossy though.

Commercial kitchens are stressful enough. I wouldn't like having
someone like that as a coworker. It's just added stress.

Will be interesting to see how things unfold, that's for sure. Yes, I
always got the impression she was a little "brassy". Nothing like this last
episode, though!
